Republican candidate for governor Scott Walker has announced his proposals for Wisconsin agriculture. As governor, Walker says he’s introduce legislation to require state agencies to review permits within 60 days. If the permit is not approved or denied within 180 days, the application will be presumed to be approved. Walker claims uncertainty with the permitting process has been a major problem for Wisconsin farmers.
