Walker: State of the State is on, snow or no (AUDIO)

Governor Scott Walker said today that he’ll deliver the State of the State address tomorrow night as scheduled, despite forecasts of heavy snowfall across much of Southern Wisconsin.

“We’re not putting the public at risk,” said Walker, who noted that many legislators will be in Madison well before the snowfall reaches it’s heaviest point, sometime late Tuesday night.

“The only down side is it means I’m probably now relegated to fifth or sixth on the nightly news,” behind Packers and weather stories, Walker quipped.
