Suder statement on State of the State

Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder, Republican of Abbottsford, statement following Governor Scott Walker’s 2012 State of the State address:

“Just one year ago, Wisconsin was saddled with a $3.6 Billion deficit, our unemployment rate was moving upward and crushing tax rates championed by the previous administration were stifling job-creation and bankrupting our citizens.

“Following 12 months of aggressive Republican reforms, our budget is balanced, unemployment is the lowest it’s been in over three years and 21,000 more Wisconsinites are earning a paycheck.
