No surprise here really, since his name has been on the short list for months, but Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan is included in this Washington Post list of potential vice-presidential picks for Mitt Romney.
Ryan, who has indicated no interest in being vice-president, is included with the likes of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie ( who couldn’t be persuaded to run for president,) former candidate Rick Santorum (who had such nice things to say about Romney before dropping out) and many more. It’s a long list and some of these seem like long shots.
