The headline notwithstanding, this post will have nothing to do with Chick-fil-A (maybe later). But it does have to do with a dastardly crime captured by a surveillance camera.
“People think watching ‘The Wire’ prepares them for something like this. It does not.” That’s what Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Meg Kissinger told columnist Jim Stingl, regarding the theft of her bicycle this week. The brazen, broad daylight deed took place right before the unblinking eye of a security camera which, as Stingl notes, was sadly unable to stop the crime. Where’s that disabling stun ray technology we’ve been promised?
