There’s a certain inevitability to hearing Governor Scott Walker introduced to speak before a group.
I’ve lost track of the number of times the speaker has asserted that Walker “needs no introduction.” Case in point, today’s Restaurant Lobby Day at Monona Terrace. After assuring the crowd that Walker needed no introduction, Wisconsin Restaurant Association Vice President of Government Affairs, Peter Hanson, allowed that “pretty soon he’ll need no introduction in Iowa, New Hampshire or North Carolina.”

Come to think of it, there’s a certain inevitability to comments alluding to a Walker presidential bid – and to Walker dismissing them. Hanson “certainly didn’t get his introduction from me” said Walker, before stating for the umpteenth time that he’ll be governor “as long as people want me to be governor.”
